It's a sad day for me as I'll need to empty my tank tomorrow due to the tank leaking.. I'm certainly sure it's leaking cause the floor was wet & I couldn't find any water splashes on top.. This is a huge blow to me as I might need to give away my fh & bp or worst come to worst put them down if no one wants them.. :(
I'd to temporarily put them in my 10g hospital tank at the moment..
I know some will suggest that I just replace the tank but things doesn't work that way around me.. If I'm not able to get a new tank by next week, I'll be out of fishkeeping for some time..
It sucks big time especially when my fh is halfway through maturity & I've put in so much effort in it.......................

Definitely not the filter.. Mine is a top filter so I checked the upper part of the rims & looked for water stains on the glass but no sign of water..
When I touched the bottom, even the silicone is damp & needless to say the styrofoam is all wet.. Of all the things to happen, it had to leak now...

I agree...Get a large rubbermaid container and refurbish your current tank....Your babies will be fine in their temporary house while you make some home improvments.....Robbermaid makes a 80 g container with lid for about 30$

Maybe it's just your english but this post doesn't make very much sense at all.

sometimes i've noticed that HOB (hang on back) filters will leak if the O ring is getting stiff. you should be able to tell by looking at the motor and where the power cord comes out of it. if there is a water present or very slow dripping i'd replace that O ring on the motor.
