I have a vic who's been sick for about 10 days now. My first question is how much longer can he live without eating? He seemed lazy and stopped eating. They be seemed like he was about to die I treated with salt bath at this time and he seemed to be a little more alive then I started treating with metro hoping it was a parasite of sorts since I didn't notice any other signs f illness on body. The metro treatment started a week ago. Then I noticed white stringy feces. So i fogured still on right path,About 4 days ago he appeared to look fat and bloated forbthe first time. He's still swimming around and seems active and interested in me when I go near tank. Be shows interest in good but will not take it. He seems a little less bloated now but the bump near his anal fin is more evidnt. I just picked up clout to try this. Is it okay of clout mixes with metro+. I've also been using Epsom salt and I plan to do a 50% water change before clout treatment. From everything i've read he should be dead or better by this point but he's still fighting!

P.S. I think it's a bad idea to mix the clout and metro. You might overdose the fish and will probably kill it. I wouldn't do it.
He seems better bc he's not laying on bottom but last night I thought he was done he was like biting the bottom of the tank to the point he was almost flipping over. Strange behavior. If I siphon water and bottom powder that's undisolvef u still think clout is bad idea?
I think if you do a large enough water change you should be fine using the clout. You’ve done EVERYTHING else possible.
