i bought a pair of blood parrot fish and now it laid eggs and gaurding them. they are fighting off my flower horny and frontosa. what should i do?!

It's hard to tell from the pic but are all the eggs white? If so, they are bad and I would just leave them or siphon them out. From what I hear, blood parrots are usually sterile, but if the eggs are good, wait until they hatch and are free swimming, then remove them from the main tank and put them in a fry tank.

fisher12889 is right, it is rare to get a fertile male blood parrot. Thats why a lot of female BP are cross bred with other cichlids.

just siphon them out. my blood parrots lay eggs all the time, when i siphon out the eggs, everyone starts to fight eachother, i guess they are blaming eachother for whomever took the eggs, next day, back to normal.
same, they get so mean they started attacking my turtles!!!! but then they soon, when the turtles fought back lol
i have 8 blood parrots, there have been eggs like20 times, only once did any "hatch" , only three actully lived and one was all deformed, ill see if i still have pics, the other two that lived i still have , there healthy, but look alot different than all the others, there mouths arent deformed and they are very agressive
