Hey guys, my parrot jumped out of the tank, and when i saw him he was slightly breathing, i put him in a small bowl and it took about two hours for him to acually become responsive and now he is back in the tank. He cant swim real well tho...also he looks kinda "crispy" i put stress coat in...is there anything else i could do to help??

Just give him some time. If he wasn't out to long he should be fine.

Get a lid? Or a better one if you have one.

ive got one, and it is fine, there is one hole where he had to have slipped out, because i put the filter back on and it was not put on right

hes probaly just trying to catch his breath.

His gill tissue probably dried out quite a bit while he was out of the tank, so he's probably low on oxygen. If he's made it this far, I'd add an air pump to his tank and some salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons) to help with osmoregulation. Best of luck, I hope he makes it...

I agree with Nat.
