I heard the same thing they are parrots but not as round and they dont have that crazy mouth. I can take a few of those off you hands if you'd like lol

Should be an interesting, if, unexciting mix. Unless the Midas was something spectacular, I just see it producing a lot of red of fish of varying body shapes.

the midas and blood parrot mix is what makes a king kong parrot,
my midas has tried to fertalize my blood red parrots eggs, but is still to young, i should have some soon though!
