I recall reading that ‘poor quality’ blood parrots will NOT have a deformed mouth, and instead it will be functioning. This is strange to me that a functioning mouth would be considered poor quality for the fish. I recently picked up a blood parrot that’s about 3” long, and its mouth appears to be working well while eating. The fish is beautiful and has great shape (imo). Is this blood parrot considered to be of poor quality for the standard? Im only asking out of curiosity, as I’m super happy with this find and prefer it over the standard deformed mouth I’ve seen.
