If they are refusing to give you what you want on your body it's time to find a new one anyway.
 
I can see both sides of this situation. You're upset and disappointed that you can't get the work you want done by the artist you chose, but at the same time he doesn't want to do a piece of a fish that to him looks obviously deformed and misshapen. Have you shown him any pics of what a BP actually looks like so he realized thats how they really are supossed to look, and that it's not just a bad drawing?

Yeah I brought in several pictures. I just went in and spoke with him and he's going to try to redraw it (at his suggestion). If I'm not happy with it I'll just go elsewhere. I don't blame him for not doing something he's uncomfortable with, I just don't think we were on the same page.

Dude go somewhere else. Half my body is tattooed, I've dealt with many tattoo artists and worked in a couple shops. A lot of the time they are big sensitive egotistical narcissistic babies. Your drawing is absolutely legit and would tattoo very well, and it really looks like a blood parrot.

Too bad your not here in Chucktown. I'd tat a badass bp on you for cheap for being a fellow MFKer. I like the design and I think you should find someone who wants to do a piece like that.

I appreciate the offer haha. :)

I'm gonna go in tomorrow and see what he's drawn up.. Since I've waited over a month for this appointment I might as well see what he has. My birthday is this weekend and I've already asked off work for it and everything but if it isn't what I want I'll just have to cancel .
