Is there a meaning to the Maple Leaves? You Canandian?
I've always kept those trees an I've done a lot of moving in my time so it's kind of cool that those trees are in the front yard of every home I've had. Japanese maple leaves or cherry blossoms have so significance to me personally. I'm not really worried about what other people think and I'm in the process of making it look less goldfish like to my own eyes. They were first bred overseas so I thought the asian theme fit their origin. I plan to have many different cultural themes and my next tattoo is a norse theme art nouveau style back piece featuring Yggdrasil, the norse tree of life.

The face needs to be fixed, doesn't make it look BP at all. Needs that messed up triangle mouth.
Oh yeah, redoing the face for sure, and adding some trailers... Fins need to be a little longer. Looks like an old goldfish, hehe.

The scales look a little off too. I've always loved the Asian water theme. As a tattoo artist I like people who personalize each piece. Keep the design how you like it.

I think I'm redrawing the whole fish, the dimensions are way off, eyes too low, fins not long enough, body shape too much like a goldfish, but the artist drew exactly what I asked for. I hope he doesn't hate me when I come in having redrawn his fish.
