You're going to find it very easy to breed a texas with your females...ridding them (if you mean selling them off) will not be easy cuz the quantity you will have but quality you will not.

If you're into red texas, spend the money for a nice one. It'll save you much time and effort. This is from experience...I'm referring to all the cross breeding...generation after generation...the grow out tanks...food...water changes...culling...energy bills...filtration...and so on.

Your idea has been attempted by many. There's a reason why a quality red texas is so expensive. They're not easy to produce.

I don't want to sell them at a high price like my LFS does and none of this is for profit I just meant I wouldn't have to worry about getting rid of them because the ones their selling for $30 at an inch or two are nothing special so if I sold 10 for that price I think you'd be surprised at the amount of people who would buy a few hoping atleast one would turn out nice. But again if I do this its just for the experience I don't plan to breed them more then a couple times
