my previous motoro ray that passed on had a hole in its stomach. and it looked like the eye was filled with blood.
now my other motoro has the same symptoms but no hole in the stomach. whats wrong with my tank. nothing else is getting sick except for my rays. i just did a big water change and he got better.
coudl it possible be the saltinity level.
or what parasites in my tank?
can anybody help?

I had some motoro with same problem most pulled thru i never could find out exactly what it was water or parasite/bacteria etc. I used salt raised to 3.0 and raise water temp.

As in 3 ppm?

i foudn the problem. stingrays dont have scales and they dont like salt it burns their body. i realized the only factor could have been the salt. so i did a 50 percent water change. without adding salt this time. and it got a lil better. next day did 20 percent without adding salt. and the stingray seemed completly fine the next day. the red eye went away in about 2-3 days. and eventually couple days later the ray started eating again. so lesson learned. DONT USE SALT ON RAYS OR TIGS.
