I've never kept it so I am not the best resource.
They have been coming through this year as we are seeing an influx of Columbian fish. Should be straightforward and similar to other medium sized crenicichla. Given location, I would imagine acidic to neutral water low in nitrates and temps from 76-82. Keep them in a 75 minimum for a pair and larger if you add tankmates.
