Blood with stool

I was watching my aro and it took a dump and I noticed a little bit of blood coming from its anus. Any idea? It just ate a bunch of freeze dried krill. Water parameters, nitrate is 0ppm. I did a 50% wc yesterday and do so every week.

Aro is 18" and krill is red but I know what blood looks like underwater.

Did you cut the head and tail off the krill before feeding?

No it's the Tetra brand Jumbo Krill in a can.

There's a rather hard and sharp part of the krill that can damage your fish if it isn't broken off before feeding. My guess would be that it was cut by that. I don't feed FD krill so perhaps someone else can chime in with what exact part it is you need to remove.
