blood worms

Put the amount of bloodworms you think your fish can consume in a net and run it under dechlorinated water or try to get some tank water until they are thawed. I do the former.

Why not just throw it in? If anything, run cold water over them, in a strainer, with fine mesh.....

Fish are not adept at sudden changes in temperature which is why thawing frozen foods is recommended. This may result in severe stress thus they become more vulnerable to illnesses.

from 1 bw cube? I think the only problem is all the gunk that comes with it. I just toss the cubes or chunks into my larger tanks, but for the smaller tanks, I run it under water in a fine mesh net

Never thawed a cube of BW in my life....They thaw fast in a 86 degree tank. Better safe then sorry I guess, but I would not even bother.....

one problem with not thawing is that a bigger fish will swallow it whole or take most of it as soon as it gets small enough. Then again, with fish that big you shouldn't even be using blood worms lol

I just put the cubes and some tank water in a small container. The cubes thaw pretty fast this way.

I put them in a cup with HOT water. I then stir it up. Then I put it in my tank.

You cook them?
