How concerned should I be? Happened over night after feeding smelt and massivore. Did a 50% water change and emptied dirty water from the two fx6 filters.

Any ideas for a cause. He's the only one affected out of like 8 other polys in the tank. All other fish look fine and healthy.
My best guess is he ate a smelt that was too big for him and it poked something somewhere or something like that.

Well now that I think about it mine swam up my vacuum while doing water change and looked the same way in side his mouth you could see blood too. I just added a little bit of salt and he was fine.
Got a closer look at him since I took the picture. Bright red has turned to orange. Fins are going back to normal color. So things are looking up
