Yeah, and some people can have deadly allergic reactions to peanut butter, but you don't see that kind of warning on a jar of peanut butter. I would think that it would be an individual's responsibility to know what they can and cannot touch.

People can also develop an allergy to brine shrimp-i believe that both allergies develop over time. I read somewhere that people become sensitive to bloodworms because they feed on the bottom of the water, in the muck. they live in areas of high metallic concentrations (iron and mercury).

you should either wear gloves when handling bloodworms if you do have allergies to them, and as always you should always wash your hands after handling any of those frozen things-.

"and there's nothing wrong with me" ;)

Sorry, some times it's hard to be funny in text.

I see it now, plain as day. I should have caught that one.

That is soooooo funny because i was reading the same thing on the label and was asking the same question too her.
thanks for that lol!

yeah they're freeze dried. i saw the allergy thing when i looked back at it. i usually handle them, but my boyfriend yelled at me and showed me the label, probably the dust particles

in the freeze dried it is the dust particles! you hit that right on..

How should bloodworms be given to the fish? In the frozen cubes or thawed out?

I just throw the cube in and let the fish pick at it as it thaws. or my O swallows it whole.

I do the same, but i feed my "O's" pellets that they brake down to smaller pieces for my smaller fishes that are in the tank.
