The issue here is mbunas should not be fed with meaty foods. Excessive proteins make up a number of "Malawi bloat" cases or dropsy (for brevity). In other words, I would never consider mixing mbunas with predatory specimens especially where diet is concerned.
Oh sorry g been drankin everpunch didn't even think of that aspect of it excuse my being mouthy but man I didn't know my ahli/hap was a predatorily species saved hims from local petsmart been there I would say for almost two years so the bloodworms should be more of a weekly thing? Is it ok for my terror? Seperate tank btw
Bloodworms are more of a treat than anything else. Weekly feeding is fine. You can try New Life Spectrum and Kensfish. Both are commercial foods that suit the needs of particular fish.
ha finally figured out what nls is been keeping cichlids for 7 years now but just became a fish freak ha where can I get it at any old pet store? I've sure never seen it at any place round here don't think is it frozen or like a pellet but I might just have over looked it
