Well, I hate to post such terrible pictures of my kids playing, but here are the many evil faces of my other dogs... Too bad they aren't pits, or else they would not be cute, they'd be vicious.

But sadly, Tink has a wedge-shaped head, a short coat, is over 12 pounds, and is more than happy to act like a clown.

Pits are some of my favorite dogs. When they have been raised well and socialized, they are awesome. I get so sick of these dogs being blamed for being aggressive when they are often raised poorly (usually chained to something), neglected, unsocialized, and often abused. The owner want 'a tough' or 'macho' dog so they get something that does have power, and treat it like crap till its messed up in the head and then get put down for not being stable dogs. How many stable people do you know that have been neglected, unsocialized, and abused? $%@#%#$%#$^%#%!@#^((#$ bad owners!

I say neuters all around for bad owners! Sorry, just love pits, and I have seen such bad things happen to them. (I worked at a huge emergency animal hospital for several years, and just get so mad sometimes with irresponsible people!)

I know what you mean, but even some dogs who have spent their life chained behind a house to howl all day and wait for meals that may or may not come were okay. This is one, he spent 12 YEARS on a heavy chain in his own crap, I am so sad that I got to him near the end.
But he died surrounded by his family, including a young male pit whom he was being a mentor for, and kids.
