Blue acara and Elec Blue acara pics please

Ok, forgive me I know nothing about acaras. Are you sure it's a male?

It is very beautiful! Did the terror do that to its tail? Or is that just damage from shipping?
 
Not totally sure yet as still small .. quite dominant for an acara .. too small for venting .. yep tail was like that when arrived .. very minor so should grow out soon .. gt and it have had no aggression at all but I'm sure that will change when gt gets bigger
 
Ok, I was just curious. This part here had me thinking female.

Yeah those fins should heal fast. Maybe you'll get lucky and there won't be too much aggression as they grow up together.

Hope so .. yeah it's a tough one you could well be right .. quite a tough little fish though as it's now the tank boss .. but I guess aggression isn't limited to male ... not damaging or stressing other fish .. just in charge lol

The pair went to a friend last week and kept 8 of the fry showing normal blue acara colours with slightly more blue down the sides and around the mouth hope the keep the red fins like the mother
 
Nice .. did she jaw lock with the male at the start or did they pair up without hassle?
