Haha, thanks. My female gt always has hers out so they really stand out to me
 
Decided to go the methylene blue hatching route so have taken the eggs out into a separate container to hatch if they're fertilised .. moving the parents to their own tank tomorrow and with large pebbles and and fx6 external filter hooked up to an undergravel type system in the current tank .. I don't fancy trying to catch them after they hatch

That's a lot of blue. How much did you add?
 
It looks a lot darker in the pics for some reason 10 drops 25 litres
 
These are the fry from my EBA x blue acara's first spawn that was in my community tank I siphoned them out after a week when numbers started to dwindle

Looks like you will get some nice fish out of that ... would have been nice to have a tank set up and ready ... I think my eggs must have been a bit older than I realised as I can see some tails already ..
 
Although with 2 broken ribs I'm not looking forward to my next water change !
