blue acara help

If you want something with some good size a nice couple of severums or if your after colour you could put in a group of rainbow cichlids or some geophagus. I've kept all these with blue Acara I've also kept a group of curviceps and keyhole cichlids with them. There are so many nice South American cichlids too choose from its all about personal preference and availability, as for a bigger tank I know what you mean took me a while to talk the mrs into a 150G.

I kept a blue Acura with my big EBJD with great success. It is worth a try IMO

my acaras went well with my EBJD they got on fine and i second the geophagus as they were also in the tank and they look stunning when they got older

Pics as promised... my Acara - it seems to be admiring its reflection in the glass (I think its female??)... and ended up going for an EBJD (around 1.5 inch - the only one I could get my hands on) ... its just in quarantine at moment (I couldn't resist! I love the colour and it seems to have a bit of character)
