Blue acara + oscar

Do blue acaras and oscars get along? They would be going in a 75 gallon tank, but I do have a different tank I could put the acara in if I needed to.

I think they could work pretty well in a 75g. I've done it before with no problems. This is assuming there isnt a huge difference in size.

I've had a blue acara in with my oscar for several years with no problems ,but each fish is different so your experience may differ.

I think they'll probably be okay... but your going to eventually need something bigger than a 75 gallon.

Right now, the acara is much bigger than the oscar. The oscar was in a tank with tetras at the pet store, if that gives you an idea of his size, and the acara is about 3 inches. Thanks for the help.

Lol! I wouldn't have either reading my post. I should have given more details. >_> This thing is seriously the smallest oscar I have ever seen in my entire life. He's the same size as my red-eyed tetras (help up for comparison, not rulered, so take that how you will).

great combo as long as not a huge oscar with juvenile acara....both pretty peaceful as far as cichlids go
