i was wondering how big these actually get ive looked up sizes but these sites keep giving me different sizes anyone who knows please let me know i havea 40g long and i have 6 tiger barbs anda pleco 3 convicts (all about 3/4") and i want to add 1 blue acara wat u think?

The blue Acara will get about 8 inches tops more like 6. They are a pretty fish and should be fine in your 40 gallon. They look a lot like a Jack Dempsey(colorwise). They will stay out in the open too unlike the jack dempsey. Very cool fish.
