Yes blue angel fish,i seen them my self the importer says there rare,im really into ca cichlids so i dont know much about angels,i will get a few now

I don't know how rare they are but they seem to be going around lately. One of our owners recently picked up 12 sub-adults for our largest ADA display. I don't remember anyone mentioning them being terribly expensive.
They could have been though, cost is usually our last concern lol. :naughty:

Great looking fish though. The blue coloration is exceptional in planted tanks.

I have a group of 17 x 4'' platinum angels in the field (I've raised from 1''!) and they have all developed a wicked blue sheen as they've grown. More blue than any other angels I ever seen. I'm really curious to see how they turn out in adulthood!

There's an Angelfish breeder in Manila that has made an extensive study on the genetics of the "Blue" Angels. His breeding results suggest that the Platinum Angel produces "Blue" tinted Angels when crossed with the other strains.

He's developed his own line of Angels he calls "Pinoy" Angels.:)

I have personally seen a mated pair of german blue angelfish in pa at the lfs and they were selling them for 35 bucks but i had no where to put them stupid of me but what are you going to do and i have been searching for some ever since and have had no luck.
