blue armed prawn

Has anyone kept a blue armed prawn before? any pics?
I had one years ago but got rid of it because it ate fish during the night.
It got big. 6" long body and arms just as long.
not asking really anything just a bit of nostalgia.
 
If you're talking about a blue Crayfish-I had one. I was fascinated by him. I thought his tank was covered every square inch but apparantly it wasn't and one morning he was just gone :-( Never did find his body or anything. I still want another one as soon as I find one. Here's the one I had.

the prawn has thin arms and small claws instead of thick arms and claws like crays do.
BTW nice Blue cray

Im just curious to wether anyone has or had kept one.
 
giant freshwater prawn or blue prawn... i actually just purchased one of these yesterday... its about 2.5 inches... i did some research and apparently they get up to 12inches.. they seem to just hide a lot and scavenge off the substrate.. i think mine may have eaten the head off of a tiny gold zebra botia i had in there.. the botia was doing fine for the past couple weeks that ive had him, but i woke up this morning and he was headless :eek:

I awoke one morning to hear scritchy scratchy clickety clackety sounds and caught mine walking to its leisure across my floor, headed towards the door.

The cat's face was like :screwy:
