blue arowana? dyed or not?

black aros are not dyed.. sometimes in pet stores you see silver arowanas dyed blue though and it will fade away aventually

so its just a regular black? being a black will it become gray as it ages?
 
Some may call it black some may call it blue, doesnt mean it changes its scientific name. IT will not turn grey as it ages but turn silverish with a different sheen to it. personally the black arowana and the silver are both beautiful in their own ways.

Only to the casual veiwer. IMO silvers and blacks though similar are very different.
