blue arowana?

my LFS has some "blue arowana" for 399.99 are they really "blue arowana's" or black? they are liek 7 inch.. they look blue to me. sorry i have no pics

They are the same fish.. And wehn in season you can pick one up here at between7-14" for 250.00 after shipping ... usually less.

Although it may appear to be blue in color, it is still a Osteoglossum ferreirai(black arowana). 400 bucks is very high price though.

My LFS has a few 'Blues' in i reckon that they are just blacks.

i recently posted about these, i know u seen them at aquatic warehouse, there only selling 1 of the 2 and putting the other i nthat 700gal tank...

i wouldn't spend 400 on it tho, when in season here on mfk, usually no more then 250 after shipping for a bigger more stable arowana

BLUE= BLACK they range from $100 for a small one to $300 for the larger ones but you rarely see the small ones in. theyre ushually 12'+

No wonder there aren't many blacks left they are all been passed off as blues!!!!
