Blue Back or Black Back?

If you had choice between the two colors on an acrylic tank which would you choose? I was thinking of black since black looks good on everything.

I totally agree. I had a double-sided blue-black, and the blue just looked stupid. Besides, the black makes your fishies color show better.

I have never seen a blue background on a tank that looked good. It just reminds me of poorly set up SW LFS tanks.

I don't know, I have both and I like them the same but black makes your fish as long if they are not black stand out.

Black. Blue is too bright for me.

Blue is ok, but its gets dirty and you see it. Black also makes it look shallow. Im still trying to figure out a color to where it makes it look deeper than it really is. I dont like it looking like they are confined in a tank

i voted for black but if its going to be a saltwater aquarium i prefer blue over black .
