i just added a blue bar into a tank of vics i have... i thought the blue bar was going to be smaller but turns out he is now the biggest fish in the tank... slightly bigger than my dominant flameback... they are jawing at it already but its only been a few minutes.. the kyoga is definately going back at em so hes not being dominated yet... my question is.. do i leave them be and see what happens or must i take the blue bar out? i absolutely do not want anything bad to happen to my flameback but i'm hoping they co-exist bc there are bunch of others vics in there with them...one thing is for sure.. my flameback is fired up like whoa

I would keep an eye on the two of them but my guess is that blue bar will back down at least temporarily....my experience keeping Vics is that there is only one real killer from the lake, that is the sp.44

Rearranging the tank helps with all that "new kid on the block" feeling out.

I keep PN's, RG's, all reds, and one flameback in the same tank. I have a benevolant but dominant PN male that keeps everyone in line.

Post pictures of that blue bar!!!!!!

Well....what's going on with the blue kyoga?

the flamebook is still dominant....as of now the blue bar is definately scared of my kyoga even though he was originally trying to be the tough guy... when the kyoga doesnt notice and the blue bar ventures out he picks on the little guys though lol... its a vicious cycle hopefully it isnt a deadly one

Post pictures of that blue bar!!!!!!

if he comes out of hiding i'll snap a pic or two... he's not showing any colors at the moment though...it comes with the territory of being dominated at the moment..

Looking forward to seeing him!
