Hey guys I ordered some shrimp on ebay and they just arrived, but... these red cherry shrimp are blue? Did I just get ripped off? or do they turn blue when they are stressed? I would say about half of them are blue, and the blue ones are the bigger ones. I do see some red on the blue ones. I hope they are just blue from the stress. I really don't want to have to send them back... Has anyone else experienced this?

Their not cherries then. They could be blue tiger shrimp, or a crystal blue shrimp. My bet's on the crystal. They both look very similar to the red cherries.

cherries are stressed from shipping, often they will look blue after being in the dark for a few days. Get them home and let them acclimate to your tank, I would bet they red up for you within a day.

I never knew this. I have tons of cherries. How much can I sell for? like 10 for 5 or something?
