Going rate is $1/shrimp but its often easy to find them for cheaper, that is the price for juvenile shrimp.

Cool! I wouldn't doubt that I have a hundred dollars worth of shrimp in there!

Literlally, tons of them. Started with three, one day saw 6
weeks later 15 or so, then it exploded from there.

they were babies werent they? i bought from the same guy on ebay, i think we over paid and i bought 2 orders and it look like theres only 10. anyone selling some and willing to ship i perfer adults shrimp

adults don't ship as well which is why juvies are often shipped. You are not likely to find adults for $1 a piece.

I'm keeping mines in a 10 gallon but I have heard stories about them breeding in smaller tanks
