Blue Convicts easy to breed?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A few weeks ago I noticed my convicts were harassing my dat, so I put them in a 5g bucket and left it under my tank until I figured out something to do with them. In less than 48 hours, they laid eggs. I then threw them in my sump, and I've got probably 40-50 wigglers in there. These things can breed on a tabletop, provided you mist them regularly :)

i have a question, my female dempsey laid eggs my male is in there too ofcourse this is the first time whats the odds of them hatching

got them last night and well there tiny yet so i definetly will not be breeding them for quite a while ill post some pics up when the tank clears up

is that a fancy name for HRP x convict?

the name for a con X HRP is a flame tail convict ,there are a few threds about them in the hybrids section ,but mine inpaticular is rather god ,it has stuff from eggs to adults ,but a con X HRP looks like a con with a red tail and blue fins

In my opinion calling a Con x HRP anything other than a 'Con x HRP hybrid' is false advertising...
