blue crawfish for less then 3 dollars!!!pics later

it's normally $20 here.. the only reason i got it so cheap was becuz it didnt have a price tag on it yet so they sold it to me as a regular crawfish

i thought blue yabbies were an australian species of cray. I think the one in the pictures is procambarus alleni(sp?)
 
That's a helluva deal! They're usually $30-40 here in IL. "Regular" brownish yellows are still around $10, but I catch my own at the river and quarantine them before adding them to a tank.

On a sadder note, I just had a 5" cray die on me last week. R.I.P Mr. Pinchy.
 
wow what a steal! here in california i can only find them for 10-15 bucks each =/
 
Wow, excellent price. i paid $15 each for mine at pet smart. They are very nice, great price.
 
thx!! i recently added cherry and algae eating shrimps to its tank... so far, no casualties. Im planning to breed them so i plan to buy some java moss for the babies
