ok i just picked up my first blue cray fish he is about 3" OR 4" long when can i start feeding him and what do i feed him or her i will post pics soon to see if it is a male or female ty

feed it on algae wafers, bloodworm, various fish and i find they enjoy peas. What sort of setup is it in.
I have one about 8" and he eats anything it can find, bloodworm, brine shrimp, prawns, mussels, plec algea wafers normal fish food he even crawls onto the wood and take cichlid pellets from the surface and eats the kiwi i feed my fly-river turtle. Id leave him about 24hrs then try him.
ok ty that helped me alot she is i a 10 gal tank with lots of hiding areas have 10 feeders in this tank i will be moveig her to a 5 gal all by her self tell i can get a male tha i would like to breed thim ty for all the help
