one of the nicer looking EBJD's I have seen. They typically have a messed up looking face IMO but not yours.

I know what you mean. I think mine comes from the stronger strain that look more like regular JDs when small. The ones that are powder blue from a very early age get all sorts of weird deformities and eye problems as they grow.

Hi there. My LFS had a load of dempseys that they had labled as EBJD but are not like any I've ever seen. I thought that they may be somewhere between a regular and blue. They certainly looked a lot stronger. So I purchased one. A few people now have said it may be a hybrid with a texas cichlid.

What do you guys think?

It's defo a EBJD but strange that it looked so different in the beginning.
