I've had him since April if remember correctly. it's great, not skittish at all. sometimes will try to chase me when I walk up the stairs (the tank is next to stair case to second floor).
if you search my old threads in the media section you'll find feeding videos of it too.

blue is hard to come by, and expensive. if you have the cash and tank available, perhaps I can let you know when they are available. drop me a pm if you are seriously interested.

Great! I am pretty serious about finding something more rare rather than a RBP or a Gold... My only concern is tank space... I only have a spare 55g available at the present time.

You could keep S. compressus in there if you could find one. They max out 8-10". Probably the rarest, prettiest, and most well suited fish you could put in that tank would be a purple S. sanchezi. He'd be more than fine for life.


Oh yeah. S. irritans. Good luck trying to find one...

right, if trying to keep for lift then not that many options, but since serras grow very slowly after 6-7" it'll last a while until need to upgrade. that's if you start with a small one.

I don't ship, but since I'm close to SA and AS, I can always ask them to help me ship.

I asked for a quote once from AS to ship a 7" rhom to MN and it was like 80 bucks or something, I think.
