blue diamond piranha

so i just got a blue diamond piranha that is like 3inch a month or so ago and i put him in a 125g tank and im woundering if putting him in that big of a tank is a wast of tank for now tell he gets bigger?

ya thats to much for a rhom that size,for a 3incher i would go with a 30 to 40 tank

i was thinking a 10g because they are so cheap! or is a 30 size

i would not bother with a 10 gallon. i had mine in a 10 when i first got it, barely grew, within 2 weeks of moving it into a 75 gallon, it put on 2 inches.

Rhombs grow verrrryy slow. 55gal at this point will do. If you want a big Rhomb, then buy em big. Its worth the investment.

ok i have a 55g i will put him in, in a few weeks. so i know rhombs grow very slow so im looking at years before he is a good size

i have 7" i think he is a black diamond rhom also have a 4-5"" juvi rhom..the juvi just wating for him to grow to see...
