when its gets to 9"

in the mean while you may want to use darker substrate than ur current white sand.it helps.

thanks for all the comments guys, this fish is amazing , i can only see 1/4 of the tank from my bed and he is always staring me down, i approach the tank and he just sizes me up everytime, when taking food out of the tank, i can put my tongs in and hes always in the way touching them with his mug, he has the best personality ...my other rhom is very veery skittish, everything around his tank scares him, this is my favorite fish in my collection, im hoping to get it as big as i can, but i have no idea how big i will be able to get him in a 125, with a koralia 7 magnum powerhead.fluval fx5, eheim 2227 wet/dry, and twice weekly 50 percent water changes..

Water parameter must be awesome, every thought of an auto drip system? 50% twice a week, that's a lot of manual labor...don't think my back can handle all those.
