I feed it every single day and do a 40% water change weekly

It grew 1" in 5 months...it seems it grew slow...what do you guys think ?

o yes ndeed they grow slow,if u keep a rhom u must have some serious patience. which is a good quality

sounds about right, my 8" one took 3 years to grow from similar size to 8" according the previous owner.
wounder frequent small water changes would make a difference compare to a one time large water change. like do two 20% wc or even 4 10% wc a week vs 1 40% a week.

you guys are depressing me. i need to measure it but i think my rhom is between the 4-5 inch mark. i wasn't expecting it to slow down yet at that size
