i assumed similiar to red bellies, atleast the 6 inch mark

it sucks that it grows so slow but what can we do

i measured mine last night. 3.2 on feb 4th. exactly 4 inches yesterday, may 5th

A serraslmus will not grow at the same rate as a young pygo, Rhoms growth rate have always been slow in the aquarium, that's why these fish demand such a high price for a large one. To grow a 5" rhom to 12" will take alteast 5+ years if not more.

1" in 5 monthes is actually pretty good.

I bought mine on 3/6/2011, he has grown about 2" to date (he is 8"+) but has at least doubled in weight.
They grow slow, but as stated previously, they're rewarding to own.
