One really big piece of info that we need to help the most is the GALLON size of your tank(s).

If you don't know how big the tanks volume is, please give us the dimensions.

Saying the tank is wider than it is isn't the point, a 10" fish in a 12" long tank is technically "longer than the fish" but not enough so.

Bioload is also a problem. Even if a fish can swim around in a circle in their tank, doesn't mean the tank can hold their bio-mass.

I wasn't talking about the length of the tank. The width. It would be absolutely ridiculous to put any fish in a tank that was nearly as short as the fish's length. Violet gobies can turn on a dime, but space is important.
