Dude! Aren't those blue-eyed Plec's endangered?

I think I heard that they can't get them to breed in captivity and you can only get them wild caught!

I might be completly wrong but I'd look into it. ;)

You are correct . No blue eye plecos have ever been breed in captivity. From what I understand not many if any panaqs at all have been breed. also i beleive the few rivers and creeks they come from are very polluted and are patroled by drug cartels.

i have read the same

since i have been keeping fish.. i have only seen 2 on aquabid josh's and yours

notthis one... diffrent occations

thats 4 in about 4 years

i aint too sure about that...have heard about panaques being bred before..but growth rate of the juvies are so damn slow...but then again..those are juz hearsay..i cant verify.. :)

if u can find any blue eye panaque in market now, most prob is a fish that some hobbyist put up for sale..this fish commands a premium..had the luck to see one in real life in taiwan :D

just wondering....y would you sell such a rare pleco? im sure you could keep it in a tank with almost anything. sure wish i had the cash to blow on a pleco like this
