I didn't make the trip to San Antonio :( . But I will drive an hour to Harlingen and go to the local fish store that has plenty of driftwood and supplies. Dang I'm easily looking at spending an extra $200 for the supplies (Food, plants, driftwood, new filter, and some of that ready tank mix ). I plan on cleaning my aquarium 100 percent and then adding the ready tank chemicals that way my aquarium will be already for BLUEY when he arrives Tuesday :) . THANKS for all the help from you guys ;)
Are you putting bluey in a uncyled tank?Make sure your tank is cycled or you are going to put alot of stress on him.and the instant tank stuff I think is way overrated.

Galactic- ready tank mix type stuff is not worth buying, 90% of the time it does nothing, especially with a massive waste producer like a large panaque. You'd literally have to be mad to put this fish in to an uncycled tank, I really hope that's not what your doing, because your likely to lose alot of money.

Edit: 5 inches of substrate is also a very bad idea, the chances of anaerobic bacterial build up are high, use 2 inches of sand/gravel mix at most.

No No I'm not taking all the water out just 50 percent. I'm also adding three live plants ( so he can be in a nice enviornment and hide ) and also some Malaysian driftwood. Is Moopani driftwood good or not ( cause in some fourms they say that its too hard and can mess up blue eye plecos teeth )? But I will not dare mess up the cycled tank ;) By the way my blue eye pleco is comming from L.A. and I should recieve by 10:30 a.m. today. :) :) :)

1500 for a pleco? What ... you live in Australia or something where everything fish is soooo expensive??? Joking ^^

Seriously, i would really love to see a pleco that is so expensive. I am fairly new to plecos ...always saw them as tank cleaners which comes in black ... well, now in red and leopard (i thought those were steep already but not 1500 to be sure)

I had one of those 10 years ago, the LFS was going out of biz, they wanted $50 and I got it for $25. Had him for years until I went on vacation and my mother thried to turn the tank light on via the heater knob, boiled the poor bastard. They are rare because their habitat has been distroyed by chemicals from local drug lords as they are only from a certian area, from what I know.

IssacMTSU you said " I dont believe you " :irked: We'll believe the pics I'm about to post :headbang2 Thursday..........
