Well it's pretty useless having them if you don't have both sexes lol

I thought they were aggressive towards each other and that breeding was almost impossible. But I am sure someone out there has some expertise in this species!!

I used to have one named Ginny. I tried very hard to get Ginny a mate.

I'm assuming you're speaking of Panaque suttoni (I don't know if the name has changed over the years, please correct me if I'm wrong)? I remember 10 or 12 years ago when everybody and their mother had them. Whatever happened with these guys? There were all sorts of rumors going around about over fishing, pollutants in their river system, drug lords controlling the area they are from and preventing anyone from collecting there, etc.etc..... I for one would love to have one again.
Davo, you once asked me what my favorite pleco was and I think that the Blue eyed Panaque would be it.

we are talking about Panaque cochliodon. It is strange that all those blue eyes from years back are apparently dead or something.
