It is impossible to tell which fry are blue gene until they get 1.5-2". ( that is what the ebjd forum told me as well as multiple breeders.
They are not going to show any blue right now.. I mean, they are only 2 weeks old.
If any of the fry are ebjd, they will start to show their color once they get 6 weeks old.

The pair is due to spawn again any day now. I noticed that they started acting aggressive to the fry (even killed a few) so I moved the babies to a different tank.

I see at least 4 in the first pic that are EBJD! I've raised thousands of them, so I guess I have a good eye.

I had a 6"-8" ebjd male a few months ago, but he didn't make it due to my tank overheating.
