may jar is mean though...every fish i have tried to put in there ended up in the hospital with melafex.. he's actually more towrads the 11-12in side and bad tempered...he's in a 206 gallon by himself and won't let anyone in. but he needs a tankmate at some point.

This is jardini's.. Most of the time tank mates don't seem to work. Just the nature of jardini's.

yeah, i figured as much. just wanna find the guy some tankmates. i guess the best way to find out is trial and error under a watchfull eye.

so def no such species as a "BLUE" GG. just a RTGG either dyed blue or just blue fins....

Yep trial and error is the only way to go about getting him tankmates. If you have an understanding LFS that will take fish that don't work out that will help.

RTGG and GG in general are normally a shade of blue-grey. Some are more grey. Some are more dark blue. So unless it's a strikingly bright blue I would assume that it's a normal RTGG or GG..

Thanks! You cichla guys are the most helpful.

Btw, thanks for the Cichla "bug". It's very addicting!!!

the jardini might kill GG or dmg it badly and GG might attack jardini too well there will be fights
