Blue Jack Dempsey - Breeding Pair

That would actually be Male EBJD X Female BGJD = 50% Blue fry
I was just turned on to this site and I'm psyched! I've been spawning these guys for over a year now and have been working on this project for about 3 years.
I've got two breeding pair. They produce about 600 fry (50% blues) every time. Here are a couple of photos of my #2 pair... They have new fry that are free swimming today.

She does most of the tending while he does the cruising.... looking for something to eat.

Where did all these babies come from??? The stork?

Yes I've used clay pots cut in 1/2. They have also spawned on the side of a rock as you can see the female fanning eggs in the photo above.
