Blue Jack Dempsey - Breeding Pair

It's hard to get a good photo for me because about the whole top of my tanks are covered with plants. The blue is more brilliant than the phots show. They are imcredible when in their breeding colors. When there are new fry, sometimes the male turns Electric Black and Blue.

At 4 weeks old you can definatly tell the difference between EBJDs and BGJDs...

The body base color/shade is getting darker/grey on the BGs
and the vertical stripes on the EBJDs is thinning out/fading.

I don't have any for sale right now... but, I've been shipping them from coast to coast by USPS Priority in Kordon breatable bags. Before I shipped any, I bagged and boxed several fish and threw them in the back of my SUV... for a week
The only fish that died were the larger ones (4"+), which popped the bags with their fin rays. The 1 1/2" fish were all fine... but hungry

I haven't lost a single one that way and it has only cost $10 to ship up to 4 fish. I'll probably try a shipment or two in the next month or two with 72 hr heat packs.
