It is definitely true that the supplier of your EBJD will make a difference as to how hardy they are.

My breeding EBJD has grown pretty fast, but is also more aggressive than any of my regular JDs - so the often quoted rule that EBJDs are more placid does not always apply.

On Aquabid, HOLLYWOOD used to sell them. They were nice. He got out of EBJDs and moved on to shrimp and a few other things. He sold his breeding pair to a guy called SalemCBR on Aquaboards.com. He isn't ready to start selling them yet. Hollywood sold them for $10 each, plus $30 sipping. The only catch was you had to buy a minimum oa 10. Hollywood is helping SalemCBR get everything set up, so I would imagine the prices would be somewhat the same. Hollywood is very well known for the quality of his EBJDs. Rapps is also very well known for the quality of his EBJDs and you can buy them 1 by 1, but he is alot more expensive. I Hope this helps.
