So I recently had my blue johanni and my venustus breed together so far got 14 babies but was wondering if anyone else has had the two breed together and how the babies looked once they got bigger lol

Yikes... it seems highly unlikely that a Nimbochromis would breed with a Pseudotropheus, but the resulting fry will most likely be (to put it lightly) not much to look at.
Lol ya figured they will just end up looking like one or the other but here's a pic of the babies

Why does your venustus have such a rounded face? Its face looks like that of a chilotilapia rhoadesii...could just be the pic though

Looks like it could be the tank distortion, seems like a male venustus to me, but the other one doesn't look anything like a johannii... especially a female.
Hmm...maybe some are just like that or its some sort of genetic defect...I've only seen a few that had the rounded face likes yours on google
