Good idea with the hot glue.. I will use it for the extra hold, A string of 30 is awesome since it will leave me enough room for a row of blue lights and a row of white lights, I was going to put them on different switches so I have the choice between the two.

i used this same set up in my tank .. just added the lights to my light bar i had .. works great ...

I plan on going the day after christmas and stocking up on these. They are usually half off that day. I did this last year and made a DIY moonlight for a 46gl.
